I'm from Metairie. Corn Salad - Just open a can of whole kernel corn and add Italian Salad Dressing. Diced green and red bell pepper can be added at Christmas. Also can add lots of parsley. Fast and Cheap. Pumpernickel Bread is a very dark brown so it may look black after enough beers.

Chili (maybe a black bean chili?) is always awesome and can be served in black and gold (or yellow) bowls. Cornbread to go with it is a golden color.

Mustard potato salad is a nice yellowish color too. Anything black cherry? Maybe black cherry jello shots and lemon jello shots? Have fun!
