Set Washer to Drip Dry

Here is a good tip for the really, really hot weather. It will save you money, Earth's resources, and time. When you're doing a load of washing, set the cycle to "drip dry". The clothes will come out wetter (even dripping a bit), but if it is really hot/windy, they will dry in adequate time AND you've saved water and electricity because it's a shorter cycle!

Hi jehosophat, Happy New Year to you too, thanks! I consider really really hot weather to be about (depending on wind, humidity and other variables) 28 degrees celcius and up in my temperate little part of the world.

At the moment we are having about 30 degree days but it got up to 42 on NYE. This lasts a few months of the year here. *Natalya.

In my country, really really hot is anything over 101 degrees and yes, it gets even hotter than that! Drip drying in the sun isn't a good idea here since the clothes become so dry that they are stiff!
