Google is a good place to search. Arhoolie recording in El Cerrito, Ca, has cassettes of old time, blues, tejano and zydeco music on cassettes (per their last catalogs...I use their catalogs to get music for my car). Daedelus Books and Music; salebooks.com has some cassettes, including ( I think) classical, and I know, jazz, sometimes folk.
I also have quite a few cassette tapes I would be glad to mail to you(cleaning after a garage sale). E-addy Hafwhit AT gmail.com - I'll give you the titles!

Using the old technology can be thrifty. Now video tapes and audio tapes are available cheaply in thrift and bargain stores. And since I don't watch them over and over, it's much less expensive than Cds/DVDs. I collect cheap classical music tapes for playing in the car at 25 cents apiece, I can splurge.
