Wearing Flowers in Your Hair for Wedding Ceremony?

My daughter's getting married on March 12th and wants to wear fresh flowers in her hair. She's wearing her hair curled and down. I need ideas on a medium or light pink flower that has a long enough stem that can be inserted under some bobby pins and not fall out easily.

She has mini callas, roses, freesias, hydrangeas, and sweet peas in her bouquet, but the lady who's doing the flowers thinks roses and callas would be too heavy and that freesias and sweet peas wouldn't have a long enough stem on individual blooms.

The flowers also need to withstand temperatures as low as the mid-30s with a high chance of precipitation (for outdoor pictures after a temple wedding) and still look good for the reception that evening. Thanks for your help.

Roses will be fine to put in the hair. Good luck.

What about dendrolium orchid? They are pretty and can trail along her curling hair. Just add a little small water tube at end before attaching it to her hair. Congrats!

When my grandson got married last year, his bride had a round wire thing with flowers attached. It was very pretty. She doesn't have enough hair in which to pin flowers.

It was just like a plain wire band with the flowers attached.

You can always have a second set ready to replace the first set if you think they might be faded by the end of the evening. It is only one flower. Keep the spare in the fridge, and switch up.

Orchids actually hold up well. They come in may sizes and colors. They can be placed on wires and covered lightly in florest tape or ribbon for placement. They are now seen for sale as plants and are pretty easy to wire.

Ask your florest what is in season that holds up well. If yours doesn't have suggestions, ask others.
