Approximate Time:

Supplies:

  • stars and stripes paper (or search the internet for a printable page)
  • printer
  • stapler
  • red and blue crepe paper
  • tape

Instructions:

  1. Fold paper accordion style.

    Stars and stripes paper that has been accordian folded.
     

  2. Fold in half, so it looks like a fan. Accordian folded paper folded again in half as a fan.
     

  3. Staple both outer edges together on the top and bottom, to make a circle.
  4. Folded paper that has been stapled together.
     

  5. Take 2 pieces of crepe paper and cut them into 8 inch pieces. Put them together and pinch the middle and tape the pinched area. Slide these on the back of the ornament and tape into place. Adjust your crepe paper streamers to suit yourself.
  6. A folded paper shaped into a circle.
     
    Close up of crepe paper ready to be attached.
