Green Bean Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 pkg. frozen green beans
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions:

Cook beans as directed, drain and chill. Slice onions and break into rings, season and toss with oil and vinegar.

You didn't say how much oil to use.

I do something similar with canned green beans for a quick salad/side dish. Drain a can of green beans and toss with a small amount of bottled Italian salad dressing and chill--that's it! Sometimes I add some thinly sliced onion, but not much. It's not a glamorous salad but it's good in hot weather.

I still want an Amish macaroni salad. Like what is sold at Walmart. It has 3 color spiral macaroni and is a vinegar dressing. I need help.
