Impact of Candle Warmers on Your Electric Bill?

I have heard that using electric candlewarmers will really increase your electric bill since it is basically a hot plate. Has anyone noticed this?

I HAVE USED A CANDLEWARMER IN MY HOME SINCE THANKSGIVING AND I HAVE SEEN NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN MY ELECTRIC BILL.

I LOVE MY CANDLEWARMER; THE FRAGRANCE OF THE WARM CANDLE WAX PERMEATES MY ENTIRE HOME!

Check out scentsy warmers. They are the best plus every scentsy warmer comes with a lifetime warranty. 2, 3 or 5, or even 10 years or more, whenever it quits working, you call scentsy or find any consultant and you can get it replaced. And it doesnt cost you anything to get it replaced. I have been a consultant for almost 7 years and their products are the best. Plus we have over 120 scents to choose from. Plus products for laundry, bath, kitchen, etc.

Do not support scentsy it a an mlm which isn't a good thing. Look it up and you will see what an MLM pyramid scheme is. Not good I'll tell you that much.

I have 12 scentsy warmers in my home and no it does not raise your bill like that. Something else is going on because warmers dont make even a small slight difference to your power bill, especially what your saying

monthly cost if on continuous and elec cost .12 per Kilowatt Hour

30 days/mo x 24 hours/day x .16 KW x .12/KWHR = $13.83/mo

The back of the warmer should list the Watts. Mine is 16 watts which is .16 KW. You can check your elec bill for cost per KWHR.

.016 kW not .16

I think one would be fine...But I have 7 full size warmers and 2 plug in nite light warmers...My bill was always close to $400...I finally went around the house unplugging the all/turning them off...I even have ivy wrapped around clear Xmas lights on top of my kitchen cabinets...They'd stay on from dark to daylight the next morning everyday...I turned off and kept off everything...My bill was $189 this month!!!! Just stating the facts!!!
