Reduced Fat Eggnog

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. skim or 1 percent low fat milk
  • 1 cup fat free egg substitute
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2-3 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 30-60 seconds, or till smooth. Chill for several hours. Shake or stir eggnog well to blend. Serve in glasses or mugs. Serves: 10.

Each serving contains 102 calories, 5.2 g. protein, 4 mg. cholesterol and 211 mg. sodium.

I have always mixed roughly equal parts of eggnog and our usual milk (for us it's non-fat). The kids and I have only known that kind and think the full strength stuff is toooooo much.
