Dish Detergent and Bleach to Kill Lawn Pests

Keep your lawn free of fleas, ticks, and pests by mixing 1 cup Joy detergent or any cheap liquid dish detergent and 1 cup bleach with a gallon of water. Put in garden sprayer and spray lawn. This will keep your yard pest free for the summer. It works great. I have been doing it for about three years.

This is yet another great use of dawn and the like! I love it!
I love natural things like this. Thanks for posting! I am going to spray it around my fence and dark areas such as behind bushes etc where fleas like to hide and where I cant get with the lawn mower.

I read in many other post that this will also kill the grass and anything growing.

Most of the weed killing suggestions use a higher concentration of bleach to water. This is dilute enough that it shouldn't harm the grass, although I would be careful of delicate plants.

Increased bleach to water to prevent killing the grass?
