This is what came up when I did a search: search.yahoo.com/search?p=making+your+own+lavender...

The 2nd one down (ehow.com) looks pretty basic. I have a lavender bush and use mine to make lavender shortbread cookies, and sachets. I never thought to make my own oil. Good luck!
