Eco Friendly Paint Removal Products?

I am needing a "green" idea to remove the paint from old glass ornaments.

I haven't tried this on ornaments, but it will dissolve dried paint on paintbrushes, so no reason to think it won't work: white vinegar. You might want to submerge the ornaments down in the vinegar, by removing the metal hanger cap thing and putting water or something (sand or whatever) in it /them so that the ornament(s) fit all the way down into the vinegar. Completely covered that is.
