Melt Soap Pieces Into New Soap

Don't throw away bar soap that dissolves into those little irritating pieces. Save them and add water, then slowly melt them down on the stove and use as liquid soap. Or melt them down without water and pour into greased jar lids or anything you want to use for the a mold and you have new bars of soap!

I had some old aluminum jello molds around that are almost perfectly bar-sized. They produce bars with molded in images of grapes and cherries and such, wich aren't a bother. Grease the molds before use for easier removal of the hardened bars.

Or I have found that if you mill them in a food chopper it creates a nice looking powder and quite pretty also and can be displayed on the bath counter in a clear glass container with a little measuring spoon. If you run bath water you may just want to add a spoon or so right to the water.
