My grandmother used to fold old catalogs to make them into doorstops. Does anyone remember those and HOW to fold them into doorstops?

I remember those. If my memory is right. You take each page and fold the tip of the page forward to the center of the book it should be in a triangle. But I don't remember how to secure the backing to make it hold together in a circle. You then would have a cone shape. Hope this helps. Nan
You fold the two edges into the center to create a triangle, then the next page you fold into three, so then the two pages look like a paper hat. Just continue to do this
Do you have more detail? I don't understand dividing the page into three.
Fold the corner in then fold the rest of the page in to the seam. Each page.
