Decorated Pumpkins and Squash

I purchased my pumpkins and squash in early October. After Thanksgiving I converted them to Christmas decorations with a little spray paint and wire rimmed ribbon. Even after sitting on my porch until after the New Year, they were all still intact. We even ate some of the small pumpkins and the squash!

I'd like to see even BIGGER Christmas bows on them and interspersed around some focal point in your yard decorations? Otherwise, they still look great alone. This is a great idea to extend the life of those pumpkins many folks just toss.

Remember to try to buy/decorate the EDIBLE pumpkins, for even further use AFTER a cooler Christmas, IF they don't FREEZE. LOL God bless you. : )
