When painting with gloss do I use a fluffy or smooth roller?

Use a short napped roller for smooth surfaces and a longer napped roller for coarse surfaces. Use duct tape to remove loose lint on new rollers before using. The adhesive side of the tape will remove a lot of loose lint that could end up on your painted surface.
