You can't unless you have enough of them to take to a scrap metal dealer and sell them for the weight of the aluminum. Other wise they have no value.
Foxrun is right. There isn't any monetary value for the rings. However, there are several dialysis charities who will exchange the rings for patient time on a dialysis machine. You could donate them. Also crafters would give their eye teeth for them. You could sell them on Etsy.com. Or email me, I'd love to have them if you have a bunch.
I collect all the rings I can, our local school gets them and with the amount they do collect, they turn in for money! This year ONE class received over $400. So find out if your local schools collect them.
My job collected tops to water bottles, drinks and milk for dialysis time. I don"t think a individual can get money for can tabs.
About a hundred of them may be worth a little over three cents at a recycling facility; as for collecting them for dialysis patients--that's an Urban Legend. Check this out:
