For a Substitute for Watching Fat Content

Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 203 Posts

I use creamora and water instead of milk or cream. This is in recipes or chowder, mac and cheese, etc. No fat, less calories and tastes as if used cream, not milk (a little richer tasting).

I use fat free evaporated milk for everything calling for any form of milk/cream etc. You get the richness without the fat.

Ingredients:

Corn syrup solids, partially hydrogenated soybean and/or palm oil, dipotassium phosphate, sodium caseinate (a milk derivative), sugar, natural flavor, monoglycerides, silicon dioxide, artificial color, sodium tripolyphosphate, salt, carrageenan, DATEM, vitamin E acetate, lutein, soy lecithin. May Contain Soy Products.

partially hydrogenated oils are not found in nature. they are chemically engineered as a flavor enhancer and are quite unhealthy.
