Control Soap Dispensing Amount With a Rubber Band

Control the pumped amount of liquid soap or dish washing liquid, by tying a rubber band around the stem of the push down dispenser. Adjust it until you get the desired amount. It will help save soap.

I think the best part of this is, most folks will never notice the rubber bands. I've learned from experience, it takes very little soap to get your hands squeaky clean.

Think I'll mention this to my church janitress, too, and volunteer some of my own rubber bands.

I like this idea, have tried it and it really works, just enough to wash your hands. It's like having a measured amount each time.
Thank you for sharing this.

My problem is getting the last 2 inches of soap out of the dispenser.
Anyone have a solution to that?
