Where to Get Last Minute Baby Items?

We are having a baby girl any day now and we are looking for some last minute baby stuff such as clothes. We are also interested if anyone has any baby clothes hangers. Thank you!

Why don't you check the Salvation Army or GoodWill Stores for last minute baby clothes.

If you purchase some clothes, make sure that you wash them.

I think the dollar store has baby hangers, rather, the dollar tree, where every thing's a buck. They also have a whole section of baby supplies, I'm not sure about clothes, but I think they have bibs and booties. I know they have sippy cups, bottles and nipples, wipes and that sort of stuff.

Edit: I was just there and looked specificaly at the baby section, they do indeed have cute little onesies and baby hangers!

New babies are terrific!

I don't know if this is your first or not, but if so, I wouldn't worry too much about clothes right away. Babies usually grow so quickly that they seem to need a bigger size about every three weeks. When I had my daughter, I had so many clothes that I had to give away because she grew out of that particular size before I was able to dress her in every outfit.

One great thing about babies is that they are NOT picky at all about their wardrobe, and it doesn't seem to matter to them whether or not they've got a wide variety of clothes in the latest fashion, lol.

So I would definitely agree that a thrift store and some reliable laundry detergent might be your best course for now.

Congratulations on your new family member!

Hi
I would search on Craigslist - you will be amazed at what you can find for sale! Also, check out any area consignment shops, yard sales or thrift stores. Check to see if there are any "Mom" clubs in your area - especially Mothers of Multiples - they have yard sales 2 times a year and they are fantastic.

Try the Freecycle group if you have in your town

My daughter just got a bunch of baby clothes hangers at the Dollar Tree. Everything there is $1.00. Also, thrift stores are excellant places to find baby clothes....sometimes even with the original store price tag still on.

I've gotten several baby shower items there....no one knows the difference. ...it's new.
