I am assuming you're in the U.S. so use the U.S. government copyright! There are too many companies out there that will rip you off saying they will copyright it for you and then copyright it for themselves and steal your work so don't bother checking anything else until you have proof from the government that it's completed!

You may need a patent too because it's a game? I don't know so be sure to find out after/at the same time as copy writing. Call the contact number at that link if you have any questions after reviewing it.

After all of that is done then start contacting the main game companies to sell your idea ;-)
