Snake in the Underside of Car?

How can I get rid of a snake inside my car (well underneath). He went into a hole and has been there a week that I know of. It comes out half way but goes right back inside. It is brown and yellow with no markings, but it has a flat head. We have tried smoke bombs, water, bumpy roads, and we tried letting the car run so it would get hot. Nothing works. I need help.

Try mothballs, they hate them.

Two things you might do,
1.) Call animal control or an exterminator,
2.) Take it to a mechanic and have them jack the car up then may be you can get it out that way.
Is the snake under your car in a hole? But it is not inside of the car? So I take it you are still driving the car!

Actually, you should call the wildlife control in your area. There was no need to take all this time trying to do it yourself. They will get it out at no charge and do it humanely.

You could also try spraying hot water in the hole, if it don't harm your car.

No mothballs! They are toxic to breathe the fumes and apparently you're still driving in your car so please don't subject yourself to the poison. :-( As others have said, call your local animal control.

If they can't help you they will direct you to who can. (Animal control in some areas do charge to retrieve wildlife.)
