Sneaker White Left Streaks on Shoes?

I just used "Sneaker White" on my all leather running shoes. It whitened them wonderfully. Only thing is, it left streaks. The bottle says to buff after dry, but this doesn't help. Anyone ever used this product, or have any suggestions?
