Stains on Nokia Phone?

My favorite orange colored Nokia mobile has black stains on it. I tried water, alcohol prep pads, Clorox, Dettol, nail polish remover, etc. I don't want to cover up the stains. How can I remove them?

never had this problem before, but I do find that the majic eraser pad works very well on stains that other things wont work on.. use at own risk though.. never tried it before.
otherwise.. if all else fails.. most phones you can go to radio shack and have the outside replace from what I have heard in the past.

Another thing you could try on your own is bleach. I've never tried it myself, I admit, but I'm guessing you could soak a cotton swab or cotton ball and scrub. Be careful, of course, and rinse by wiping with a damp cloth several times afterwards.

If that doesn't work, I'd also recommend going to any cell phone store (if you have one accessible,) and seeing if you can buy a replacement cover.
