Removing Bitumen from Car's Undercarriage?

I have bitumen all over the bottom off my car. I tried paint thinners which has no effect on the really heavy parts. I asked the company that sprayed the road what to use, they said Citrus Force, but that removed the paint as well. Any suggestions?
