This place makes custom made items. If they cannot make the leather grippers for your trunk, try other such websites if you don't know of any leather crafter in your area. They have tools to make just about anything from leather and would probably use scraps of leather to make your trunk grippers probably for little.

I have used an old leather for this. If you don't have one, check thrift stores and garage sales.
