More Flea Questions?

I live in a basement that had a lot of flood damage and want to know if that attracts fleas and bugs, because now my house is infested with fleas. Can this happen even without animals?

Actually, fleas don't like water. And it can happen without pets. Did you leave something outside for a day or two, then brought it in. That might have something to do with it.

I have a bad flea infestation and have used spray I got from the vet, which did not work, and then I bombed the house. The next day they were worse than ever. I have read where you can put a bowl of water down under a light and the fleas will jump in and drown. Last night I set out my water bowls throughout the house and added a tealight candle in them to float around.

I turned out all the lights and was amazed at all the fleas. I also put a little dawn in the water. The candle light draws the fleas to the water. It is not going to take care of the problem but it is going to get a lot of these pesty bugs.
