Placing Order at Deli Counter

When I go to a big grocery store, it is such a time waster standing in line at the deli counter. Now, before I leave home, I write the order on the back of a business card (I keep a few in my wallet). When I get to the deli, I just tell them I'll be back in 20 minutes. Meanwhile, I can shop and when I come back and my order is always ready.
