Skipper Butterfly

This is a very tiny 'Skipper' butterfly. I set my finger behind it to show just how tiny it is. When you have one or more butterfly bushes in your yard, they will attract all kinds of butterflies! They are lots of fun to watch.

Please tell me what brand and model of camera you have! That is the best closeup shot I have seen in years. I am looking for a camera that will deliver that fine a close-up shot.

What a great photo. I never seem to have the camera nearby when I want to take a 'surprise moment'. I don't think I've seen such a tiny butterfly. Is that the only colour that little butterfly comes in?

What are the white flowers behind your finger?

C U T E ! ! ! He has such big EYES, too! Yes, I ,too, would like to know what kind of camera you used.

Have you ever seen a huge solid black BUMBLE BEE?
I saw my first in my garden on my Mexican Petunia
flowers this week. It busily went about it's business, not bothering me one foot away. It is the first I've ever seen. God Bless.

I am the person who takes butterfly photos.
To answer the question of what kind of camera I used
for the Skipper Butterfly close up. I used a SONY
10X Optical Zoom Lens, Digital Still Camera MVC-FD75
quick access FD Drive 2X.
The white flowers behind the Skipper are the blossoms
of a butterfly bush! That is what the bush is called
if you want to plant one, simply ask for a butterfly bush!
Good luck to you who will plant some and good luck
to you who get a digital camera to take photos.
