So you don't intend to eat it? Then I would make homemade play dough. Google it, you should be able to find a recipe.

Here you go:

Traditional Play Dough
1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon oil
1/4 cup salt
food coloring
Mix all ingredients, adding food coloring last. Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from pan and knead until blended smooth. Place in plastic bag or airtight container when cooled.

Will last for a long time.

You can bake it in a slow oven (170 - 200 degrees for a few hours) or let it air dry a few days. It does need to be sealed to prevent humidity from messing it up... but you can get cans of spray-on sealant at craft, hobby, and hardware stores. It comes in matte, satin, and gloss.

Crusts can be made out of pretzels, graham cracker crumbs, coconut, and for a quiche, you can use frozen hash brown potatoes. Maybe you could even use philo sheets, or won ton/egg roll wrappers???Bisquick has recipes for many crustless dishes baked in pie plates.
