Does anyone have any ideas for a parade float themed: "The Grinch That Stole Christmas"?

For the general shape, use the snow cliff(?) with the tiny dog pulling the sleigh on the back of the float. Below on the main part of the float have a stripped Xmas tree with a few broken ornaments, bits of tinsel, a straggle of lights partly pulled off, but still flashing, empty and wrong side out stockings, and, of course, a Grinch sitting on a big, big pile of gifts, maybe even unwrapping some and, if allowed, tossing the contents to the crowd.
Theme: How the Grinch Stole Christmas. . .and Gave It Back!
You could use the disheveled Christmas tree idea from above and have the Whos singing carols around it. The Grinch could be there with an enlarged, perhaps glowing heart showing on the outside of his clothes, throwing back the gifts he and the cute little sled dog stole.
