I just lifted an area rug with rubber padding on my hardwood floors. It left the area sticky and filmy. I have tried cleaning with Bona Floor Cleaner and it didn't work. I need some suggestions.

I would try mineral spirits, rubbing the area with an old terry cloth towel or rag. The spirits won't harm the floor. You will need to ventilate the area, because the spirits have an odor.
