The best back to school tips are to have your child pick out his or her clothes the night before and either lay them out on a desk or hang them on the front of the closet doors so that they are ready first thing in the morning.
Also have them pack their book bag and all non-perishable items in their lunchbox and have it ready to go. They can choose their breakfast and have the cereal box or pop-tart choice sitting on the counter for faster preparation.

All good ideas but I trust you are giving them a better rounded breakfast than pop-tarts. They are really "junk food". Check the label please, for your childrens sake. There are plenty of healthy options, just a quick.
This is a wonderful way to have stress free mornings, and it is teaching your children valuable organizational skills. Having them make these decisions the night before ensures that they have time to do this themselves.
We do this most of the time and it really does help, particularly the clothes part because then you'll find out you need to wash something or have run out of socks, etc.
