Maytag Oven Not Getting Hot?

My Maytag oven doesn't heat above 210 degrees, even in cleaning mode. Is it fixable?

Replace the element. You can get one to match, start looking with Maytag of course, and there are others at places like WalMart. It needs done every few years.

My GE oven did this recently. The eyes on the stovetop weren't heating properly either. We checked the cord and plug, they were okay but the wall outlet was not. My hubby turned the electricity off at the breaker box and then tightened the wiring inside the outlet.

Worked like a charm. My oven is heating properly again. Don't assume your element is out without testing things first.
