Sour Cream Apple Squares

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 1 cup nuts
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt

• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 egg
• 2 cups peeled, chopped apple (about 2 medium)

Directions

Combine flour, brown sugar and margarine. Blend at low speed until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Press 2 3/4 cups of mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan. To remaining mixture, add cinnamon, soda, salt, sour cream, vanilla and egg. Blend well. Stir in apples. Spoon over base. Bake 25-35 minutes at 350 degrees F.
