Plastic Knives as Row Markers

Save those plastic knives from your picnic to make durable row markers. Mark plant variety and planting date with permanent marker. Push knife with handle side in the ground. These can be used year after year.

Great idea. I've been saving slats from old mini-blinds for this purpose, but the plastic knives are much stronger and should be more durable.

Great idea! Also, if you want to change what you have written in permanent marker, I have found rubbing alcohol to do the trick!:)

I use them, but blade side down, as I don't want to hurt any stray wildlife.
