My daughter's American Girl doll got caught in a fly strip. Her hair has spots of sticky goo in it. Does anyone know how I can get this out?

Have you tried baby oil? I know when I used body wax (which was SO a bad idea for armpits) and couldn't get the wax off by pulling it (hurt tremendously), it said to use either hot water or baby oil. I have fly strips in my house, and from the looks of it, it reminds me of the horrible experience I had with the wax.... just a thought..
I would try Goo Gone and then wash that portion of hair with baby shampoo.
My daughter just called and asked about this very thing with human hair. Use mayonaise, then wash with shampoo.
try rubbing a little peanut butter on to it, gets chewing gum off hair, the wipen or wash off.
Thank you for the advice re: using baby oil to remove fly glue. I was putting up a fly strip and it slipped and of course I caught in my hands.
For the person who suggested the baby oil, you may not see this, but you have literally just saved the lives of two unfortunate skunks who got caught in my neighbor's horribly misplaced flytrap. Thank you!
