Replacing the Spring in Ice Maker Shut Off Arm?

How do you get the spring back on the ice bucket arm? The ice froze at the blades and got in behind the cover. I took it apart to get to it. The spring had tension on it and now I need to see how it goes back on.

Remove 3 screws securing control cover. Remove cover. Place spring on shaft with small ear downward and to the left. attach spring ear to base of the arm just above brass colored rocker that actuates the switch. Move the bail arm inward and tension the spring with larger ear resting against the right side of the ice maker. Replace cover jiggling the arm into place. Replace screws. You will know if its in correct position when arm snaps back into place with some spring tension on it.

I opened the back of my frigidaire ice maker and the spring came off the arm. I'm having a really time reinstalling it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
