Beach Waves Homemade Hairspray?

Has anybody ever tried to make homemade Beach Waves spray? I've read many magazine articles about these and finally created my own. I put together into a small spray bottle:

  • Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Conditioner
  • styling gel
  • Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk (to avoid frizz)
  • Garnier Fructis Shine Spray
  • sea salt
  • water

The Garnier Fructis products could be substituted for any sort of non frizz product and shine product. I mixed these together in the spray bottle, just eying the amounts. I sprayed it into my hair and scrunched, then twisted it up into a bun. I left it up for about 20 minutes then let it down. The results were alright and gave my hair a lot of volume. I will post a picture.

Does anyone have their own variations on a Beach Waves homemade hair spray?
