I have my hair cut into a chin length bob and have the worst time trying to style it. Anyone have ideas that don't involve cutting my hair? Also, my hair is all one length. I don't have my hair cut in bangs.

I just got my bob today!!!! I think your problem is the "all one length". The length isn't the problem, but for it to lay properly you need layers.
I have a bob and I wash and blew it dry using a big round brush I rol it under as I dry it and it always looks full and nice.

Use an "Ionic" hair dryer (helps dry hair faster on a lower speed), and a large round brush. I've also learned from Nick on "What Not to Wear" to always blow down the shaft of hair--this helps mine alot to give volume.
I'm guessing the real problem is that it is truly one length. For it to lay correctly, the bottom needs to be somewhat stacked......now be careful with this word or you will have short hair. How is it well done is to - roll the ends of the hair over the top of the cutter's finger and cut along underneath . That way each layer is minutely longer than the one above it. Trouble is most hairstylists, probably due to being on thier feet all day, do not bend over to do it this way. Rather they tend to roll the section UNDER thier finger and cut from the top towards themselves. That results in each section being slightly shorter and it wants to turn up rather than weight the layers down to roll nicely under. Texturizing helps also to make the entire style lay properly. i also have a one length chin length bob haircut. i got this secret from a hairdresser a few years ago. after shampoo and conditioning,put one large roller on the top of your head at the crown, then wrap your hair around your head in the opposite direction of your parting then fixing into place with those long steel clip things, remove the roller, tie a scarf around your head and leave it to dry.
I'm not a hairstylist, but I think the underneath layers need to be shorter than the outside layers of the hair. If your hair is cut properly, it should almost go that way by itself with not much encouragement. Nothing beats a good haircut no matter the length of your hair.
You probably need to add a slight layer towards the bottom of your hair. It will help it curl under and lay better. Also as you blow dry start from the bottom and work your way up.
I just got my longer bob cut into a shorter one like Victoria Beckham's a couple of days ago. I love it, and it's really easy and simple to style. First, I straighten my hair. I slightly curl under the front longer layers, and curl under the back top, and sides. Next, I brush my hair with a round brush, curling under the sides and top. Then, I use hair wax, I take a grape-sized dollop and put it in my palms, and rub it in. Then, I work it through my hair, combing my hands through the back and top of my head, and then the sides. And I put a pea-sized drop on my fingertips, and slide them through the very front layers of my hair, give it another good brush, shake your head a little bit, and you have stylish and chic head of hair!
I had my hair bobbed recently and I agree, if it's all one length you can sometimes look blah. I clip the hair into large sections and blow dry with a large round brush. When it is sufficiently dry I give a hit of hairspray underneath, at the roots. This gives you body and texture without the poof.
I have it jaw length and it looks nice, but you can Clip it back (like many celebs do with their fringe in a quiff or such like). Also with mine I can grab some of the hair from near the top and brush it back it looks a little like a pony tail with half the hair still loose and with a clip, looks great. Good luck :)
I have the same trouble. You could try scrunching using mousse and curling. Straighten and flick the ends in or out by straightening inwards or out. That's about it. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
With my haircut I part my hair to the side then straighten the sides and front then curl it slightly on the ends of the sides and in the back. Hope that helps. It looks really cute.
