I am looking for a pattern of how to put cuffs on a reversible jacket. I have the cuffs. Thank you.

I believe the only way to do this is to open up the seam on bottom of the jacket sleeves with a seam ripper then tuck the cuffs INTO & IN BETWEEN the front & the "lining" sections then pin it & sew it all back together again. If the cuffs you already have don't fit, you'll have to trim them or the jacket sleeves to fit (which ever is wider). The only way the cuff will look good from BOTH sides is to put it inside & in between the bottom of the 2 sleeve fabrics, this way either way you turn it, it will have a finished look.

As far as actually sewing the WHOLE jacket, pretty much any simple jacket pattern will do, as long as it has a lining. In place of the lining you'll want to put in a regular type fabric to make it reversible. I like to use a fabric that has a tiny bit of stretch in it, something with a bit of lycra for at least one of the 2 fabrics.

Hi, You sew (by machine or hand) the cuffs onto the bottom of the sleeve of the outer fabric. Turn under the hem of the inner fabric and hand sew it along the sewing line.

The raw edges of the cuff will be in the middle between the two pieces of fabric. Loretta
