Ingredients:

  • 1 can chicken with rice soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 small can chicken
  • 1 small can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can chow mein noodles

Directions:

Mix and put in casserole dish. Top with crushed potato chips. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.

Have you actually tried this recipe? It sounds really strange with the sweetened condensed milk and chow mein noodles. With the 2 cans of soup it sounds like there is too much liquid. Baking for an hour doesn't sound like a quickie. I don't mean to be critical but this one has me scratching my head in wonder.

I suspect it is supposed to be evaporated milk rather than sweetened condensed milk.

I made a similar casserole just last week, with the chow mein noodles and all. It called for a small can of EVAPORATED milk.

I think the sweetened condensed milk in the above recipe is just a typo.
