New Opportunities, serving families in Waterbury, Meriden, Torrington and 27 other Connecticut towns, has an annual Holiday Toy Drive that provides toys to children up to 18 years of age. Visit their website for more information about signing up.
The Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut provides a number of services to families in need during the holidays, including distributing toys to children and supplying food items for holiday meals. Visit the website to find a church in your area.
Hands On Hartford provides meals on Christmas Day to low-income families.
