Save Christmas Card Envelopes

I fold all my Christmas card evelopes, which have a return address on them, and tie them together with a pretty ribbon or a piece of yarn.

This is how I see who all sent me cards this year, and I have a record of their address.

Organized Christmas Cards List

First label a piece of paper with Christmas and the year, list people you are sending cards to. When received cards come in put check by their name on your list. This way you can see who you sent and received cards from. You can add new names later. Save list for next year by stapling it to the month of November on your calendar. When November comes you will be ready to write out and send your cards. Then start a new list with the cards you write out to save for the next year. You can also do this with e-cards.

Address Books and Christmas Card List

I came up with an idea for remembering those friends and families you wish to send a Christmas card to every year. In your address book, using a red or green marker, place a "C" for Christmas next to last name of each person you wish to have on your Christmas list. This can easily been done even if you have your list on a PDA or computerized.
