In a small bowl with electric mixer at high speed, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar until stiff peaks form.

We love Eggnog for the Christmas holidays, but it is so expensive and so high in calories that I have found a way to reduce both the cost and the calories. I buy a half gallon jug of Eggnog (Yikes! $4.12), and pour it into a gallon container.

In a blender, blend raspberries and cranberry juice. Set aside. This will be the red layer.
In a 2 quart heavy saucepan, stir eggs, granulated sugar, and salt until well mixed. Gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat 10 to 15 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture just coats a metal spoon; remove from heat.
Turn the crock-pot on high and pour in the apple and cranberry juices. Stir in the sugar and allspice, then add cinnamon sticks. Stud the orange with the cloves, about 25 or 30 cloves should do the trick, and toss it in.
Combine ingredients in a saucepan. Place over a slow flame; then, before it begins to boil, take off the heat and whip up some cream. Let this float on top of the brew like foam.
Here's a nice beverage for holiday meals and easy to make. All you do is add two ounces of plain sparkling water for each 8 ounces of cranberry juice. Serve in wine or champagne glasses over crushed ice for a pretty presentation.

A great delicious recipe for those who love eggnog but need to watch their fat and sugar content. Combine all dry ingredients and mix well until smooth and thoroughly mixed. Add milk and vanilla mix with mixer until smooth and creamy.
I am interested in the recipe for hot chocolate in a jar, using dry butter milk, dry creamer, etc. I would like this for our foster kids to give as gifts.
Combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Strain.
