Use Orange Hand Cleaner to Clean Vinyl

AutoZone sells a hand cleaner called Permatex Fast Orange Hand Cleaner that also cleans Vinyl. It makes the Vinyl look like new no matter how dirty it is. My grandson called me and said he had discovered this while he was cleaning his boat.

Cleaning With Hydrogen Peroxide

My best cleaning tip is hydrogen peroxide. I put it in a spray bottle and clean everything in my bathroom from sinks to toilets, chrome, and mirrors. It also sanitizes and kills germs. It is a real time saver for me, I just spray and wipe.

ArmorAll is a product sold for use on vehicles and I recommend it for that and much more. The labeling tells you this product will clean, protect, and shine rubber, plastic, and vinyl surfaces. It helps to block harmful UV rays and slow the aging process.

The Best Cleaner for Soap Scum

When cleaning soap scum from a porcelain bathtub, I sprayed 409 and then went over it lightly with Scotch-Brite stainless steel scrubbing pads. Not sure how long the scum was there from previous owner, but it came off and didn't harm the finish on bathtub.

Using Hand Sanitizer For Sticky Residue

You know how you peel off a sticker and it leaves behind the sticky glue? I used Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer and it works great. I put some on and spread it evenly through- out the surface then let it sit for 20-30 minutes.

Refill Foaming Hand Soap

I absolutely love foaming soap for the bathroom. My husband loves it too. I discovered that the foam is caused by the dispenser. So I reuse the dispenser by putting something like Dawn liquid in it and add some water to it.

Shaving Cream for Stains

Use shaving cream to clean furniture, carpets, rugs (not delicates that will easily fall apart) instead of having to pay to get it cleaned or buy new ones. Stains come out and it smells good too (not for deep stains).

Use The Other Side Of Swiffer Pads

When I use the disposable Swiffer type cleaning cloths, I flip them over to use the clean side before tossing them in the trash. This works well with the dry dust mop cloths. It doubles the use of each cloth.
