Craft Project: Crocheted Scarves
I do crochet for various local charities in my area. I'm supported by the ladies of my church who help by supplying the yarn needed to make these items. We have a place where they help teenage children that have had to be removed from their homes due to a poor environment.
Craft Project: Little Girl's Ribbon Scarf
This is a quick and easy scarf that can be made in a couple of hour's time. It is perfect for those little ladies on your list. Or if you like the pattern, you can continue on and make it longer for an adult. It uses about a 1/2 to a 1/4 of a skein so this would be a great project to use up the last of that skein from another project. When it is worked in a light weight yarn it is a very pretty, very feminine lacy scarf.

Christmas is coming! and it is time to start thinking about those presents we want to make for our family and loved ones. I have young adults who are very into the latest fashions and I too have noticed that one of the latest trends is away from the thick wide scarf that we all grew up with to a small thin scarf that is very long.
