I love needlepoint on plastic canvas and have been doing this hobby for years. I would love to get some new ideas, patterns? Any suggestions?
Craft: Plastic Canvas Wedding Cake
I am looking for the pattern for this plastic canvas wedding cake. Does anyone know where I can get the pattern?
Craft Project: Plastic Canvas Christmas Stars
A package of 10 plastic cross stitch star patterns cost me about $2. I was given a bunch of yarn and I made up my own patterns. I did all ten at once.
Craft: Plastic Canvas Crochet Trinket Box
I wanted to see if I could crochet on plastic canvas without any sewing and ended up with this trinket box made on 5-mesh plastic canvas. I used a size D crochet hook so it would fit through the holes and worsted weight yarn.
Craft: Tissue Box With Coasters
This is a tissue box cover and coaster holder with 6 matching coasters.
This is a plastic canvas project. It is derived from a pattern for a tissue box cover, and can be adjusted to go with any tissue box cover pattern you want to use. These are the changes I am making to the pattern.
I haven't made my project yet so can't send a picture. I just got done cutting the pieces out and will start stitching it tomorrow.
Craft Project: No Soliciting Door Hanger
I grew tired of being constantly disturbed by door-to-door salesmen, so I composed this poem and cross stitched it onto a sampler. I hung it on the inside of my outer glass door, and happily, most of the salesman now either bypass my house, or quietly leave literature.
Craft: Chinese "Double Happiness" Ornament
This is a modern version of the Chinese "Double Happiness" icon. It is considered good luck to display it in your home. It makes a nice Christmas ornament when cross stitched with black thread onto red 11 gauge material.
This is a Christmas gift I made. It is napkin holder made with plastic canvas. The second picture is another plastic canvas craft I made for Christmas. It is a wall or door hanger. This one is a fairly easy project.
Choose cross stitch pattern smaller than the top of a canning ring. Stitch pattern onto Aida cloth. When finished, cut away extra cloth. Center design on orange juice lid.
Grapevine Wreath Cross Stitch Gift
Tired of just framing your cross stitch project or turning them into pillows for gifts? Here's a unique way to display your work or create a special gift. Glue your project to a piece of round cardboard and glue the cardboard to the back of a grapevine wreath.
This is a cute little reminder that anyone can carry. It is simple enough for children, but also interesting enough for grown-ups. It should take between 30 and 60 minutes to complete.
