I'm learning how to make altered books. I am in need of a free, tag template. Can somebody steer me in the "right dimensions" to make a tag?
For a very dear person in my life, I am creating (from an already bound journal) a fun birthday present journal. This journal has quotes I've cut out and pasted in, ones I've written in, tea bag covers that will eventually hold something, what I don't know.
As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I use my Bible on a daily basis. My Bible only has 1 piece of ribbon as a place mark. During my Bible reading, I find a lot of Scriptures I would like to remember, so this is what I did.
I'm interested in recovering a paperback book with either fabric (stretchy knit?) or contact paper. Any hints or patterns out there?
I am looking for a book or books on making things out of popsicle sticks for an adult who is incarcerated and has been given permission to do hobby craft. I would appreciate any help I can get in obtaining information on where I can order books to be sent in to him.
Need to hide something? Buy a hardback book at a thrift store and transform it into a hollow book. Just use a utility knife to cut out a rectangular hole in the book pages. Use a straight edge to guide the knife.
