Scrapbook for Student Assignment
I've heard about the scrapbooking craze but have not been involved. My 13 year old son has been given a school assignment to create a scrapbook about himself. His instructions were to take each letter of the alphabet and give 2 words beginning with that letter to describe himself. He said the teacher suggested they use buttons "and stuff" to put on it. The project is due in about a week, so I assume it's not expected to be too grand. We've already come up with his words, and I thought about writing them in calligraphy form on the pages. Any quick or easy suggestions out there for what to use for the book/pages, decorating, etc.? Any ideas are welcomed!
Where Can I Get A Miss Elizabeth Scrapbook?
I purchased from the Dollar Tree Miss Elizabeth's scrapbooking pages and refills. Where can I get a scrapbook to go with it. They didn't have one in stock at the time, not sure if they even get them in at all? Thank you!

Whether or not you are into scrapbooking, you should appreciate this tip. I use a fairly large (12 inch diameter), pretty basket, which sits in my kitchen. When I receive a letter from a friend, thank you, Birthday, Anniversary, invitation, etc., I drop it in the basket.
Buy Flexible Rulers In Craft Section
While looking for a flexible ruler to use in scrapbook or card making projects, I found they were quite expensive. Even checked the drafting supplies. Then my husband wandered over in the fabric section and found exactly what I wanted at a much lower price!
Mylar Balloons for Scrapbooking
Re-use old Mylar balloons by cutting out the outer balloon designs; tape next to, and around photos for scrap booking. You can also cut the balloon apart to make a background for the picture in a frame, or as a border around the picture.
Buying Scrapbooking Supplies on Ebay
Ebay is an inexpensive way to stock up on paper and supplies for scrapbooking. I bought several packs of paper with 200 sheets for under $10.00, with shipping it was still cheaper than the Dollar Store or Dollar Tree.

Scrapbookers! Save money on scrapbooking supplies by shopping at BIG LOTS! I would have never thought to get supplies there, until I went to the grand opening in my town.
Old text books are good to use in making any number of hand crafts: paper beads, envelopes, cutouts for use in scrapbooking, etc.
I came up with a great way to spruce up old photo albums! I took the photo album and used old tissue paper and regular craft glue and applied glue with my finger and put tissue paper over it in different designs.
Odd Photos for Scrapbooking. Have photos of odd items or backgrounds? They don't have to sit in your photo storage any longer! They make great backdrops for pictures or items in scrapbooking.
Completing the Baby Book Pictures. Remember that baby books are not complete without a "pre-labor" picture of the expecting mother. . .

Bubbles From Glue on Scrapbook Pages
I need help. I am doing a scrapbook using Elmer's Craft Bond and the paper I am using with this glue is sticking up and bubbly looking. The layouts look horrible.
Here is a scrapbook page I created about my son's misdeed. My son was really into scissors. He'd cut his clothes, pants pockets, and he cut his sister's hair. He didn't understand why we were so upset and he just kept repeating, "But I only cut ONE side!"
I am in need of ideas and tips from you scrappers out there. What kind of embellishments do you use that you find around the house? I need tips and ideas also from you.
Recycled Clothing For Scrapbooking
I just started "scrapbooking" and have found you can make picture frames with old colorful clothing. I also used it to do the cover of my scrapbook. It looks professional and great.
With a lot of cutting and pasting I have come up with my first HOLIDAY page. I'm really excited about getting started and wanted to pass this along so that others might be inspired to do the same. This brings back that old childhood desire to cut and paste. Only now at my age my family will think I've reverted back to my childhood. At least I'll have something to do when they put me in the NURSING HOME!
I have this HUGE scrapbook I've nearly finished compiling and there is too much content for the scrapbook it's in. I wondered if anyone knew where or IF I can find a cover which can be adjusted to fit as many pages as you want to use. I don't want to separate it into different books. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
