Wizard of Oz Table Decorations
I am looking for crafts for table decorations based on the Wizard of Oz.
I need centerpieces for a large Christmas party, but need them to be inexpensive.
I bought plastic top-hats at a discount party store for about $1.00 each, punched a small hole in the top, and used curling ribbon to anchor gold balloons to the hat.
For my high school reunion, I made a centerpiece using a few stacked "presents" wrapped in graduation-themed paper and ribbon in our school colors. My presents were empty, but you could put anything you want in them, especially if the party is for an individual.
I used scrapbook paper in my school colors to make a paper-airplane centerpiece. I made about twelve airplanes and glued them to chopsticks. I spray painted a leftover flower vase with chalkboard paint.
Decorate with gumballs and it will be a hit. I filled the base of the vase with gumballs and then added the rest of the florals and feathers. Fun, fun for any event.
